The route from Poland
The shortest way from Łódź to Austria runs south on the A1 motorway and on through the Czech Republic, via Ostrava and Brno, towards Vienna. The rest of the route depends on the delivery address.
Where Austrian business is
Most companies, plants and warehouses are clustered around Vienna, Linz, Graz and Salzburg. We still plan each delivery to the receiver’s exact address, including outside the big cities.
Tolls and rules for vans
On Austrian motorways and expressways, vans up to 3.5 t GVW use a vignette rather than the truck toll system. Weekend and holiday driving bans apply to trucks over 7.5 t, so they do not restrict vans. The route through the Czech Republic requires a Czech e-vignette.
Documents
Austria is in the European Union and the Schengen area, and its currency is the euro. Goods do not go through customs clearance. We carry under a CMR consignment note and the documents agreed with the receiver.
